Perhaps you’d choose to capture your child’s print, or parents’ prints, a loved one, someone who means everything to you & you want to keep them close to you forever.
Large Fingerprint Charm & Necklace
- A large charm can fit up to 4 fingerprints.
- Your charm will weigh a minimum of 6g and a maximum of 7.78g
Number of prints on your charm –
- One fingerprint will have plenty of space (unless the fingerprint is particularly large).
- Two fingerprints will overlap.
- Three fingerprints will only show a small amount of each print.
- Four fingerprints will show only a small partial print of each.
A beautifully Impressive piece of keepsake jewellery. Your Fingerprint Necklace is created using a putty impression of your loved one’s true fingerprint.
Putty impressions are directly pressed into your sterling silver jewellery. This gives a direct imprint of your loved one’s print – no digital manipulations and machines needed – just jewellery ‘touched’ by those that mean everything to you.
Taking the print couldn’t be easier with a Putty Print Kit sent to you free when you order, or I can use a putty print that you may already have, or maybe I already have your prints stored safely here at the studio.

- No Thanks – Just a return pack please – I will send you a prepaid return pack with all relevant packaging etc
- No Thanks – You have these stored – After ordering please email me with your new order number and explain which prints I have on record here for you and how you’d like your jewellery made.
**If you have a mixture of needing the free kit and having stored prints used please choose the most appropriate option and email with your order number and give details of exactly what you have, and what you need, and I will provide everything needed.
The front of the charm: The front of the charm will be ‘touched’ with the putty fingerprint(s) that you supply us.
The reverse side of the charm: The reverse side can be engraved with a name, date or message (up to 18 characters)

Notes about fingerprints: Children develop fingerprints at different ages. We recommend fingerprint jewellery for children over the age of 12 months, older children and adults. For children under 12 months, you might prefer the hand and footprint range. Or take a print from the palm or sole of the foot to capture more detail.
All charms are completed with a fully soldered jump ring made from sterling silver.
Fingerprints are created by using a two-part putty. These take a detailed imprint of the fingerprint. Your kit will contain a special two-part putty that when mixed together sets within minutes. All instructions are sent with your kit. A kit can take 4 fingerprints.

Fingerprint putty will capture the fingerprints from babies approximately 12 months old to over 100 years +…it’s mess-free – easy & fun to do. *Babies prints develop at different ages, most have defined prints by 12 months, but it is not guaranteed – we are all unique!

For young babies, an alternative to capturing a fingerprint is to take an impression from the wrinkles on the baby foot or palm of the hand, or perhaps a little fingernail impression.
