Are you ready to make a statement piece of bespoke jewellery from your furry best friend?
All noses are sterling silver, any attachments/links are sterling silver and fully soldered as standard. The back can be personalised with details of your choice at no extra cost.
If you have a tiny small dog, with a tiny small nose then your finished silver nose will be smaller – but chunkier & thicker.
If you have HUGE dog, with a big hooter then your finished nose will also be bigger! So your 7g of silver will cover a wider and broader area, making it bigger, but less chunky in depth. During the making & firing process there will be a very small amount of silver weight loss.
Your putty kit contains enough putty to take 2 dog nose impressions. You will be able to practice the technique required, with your dog, before making these two impressions. There is also a video demonstration to watch too – watch it here.
Please be aware that end results may vary depending on the impression that is taken of your dog. The impression provided for the nose print will be used to recreate your piece in sterling silver. Your piece will be kiln fired and there will be a shrink rate of approx 12% during this process. Maximum silver weight cannot exceed 7.78g without being hallmarked. If you wish a REALLY BIG nose made, contact me and we can arrange this!
